PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Dragonfly Software’s TimeWise product won a tender for SA Water’s electronic timesheet solution. As part of this work, system integration was key with their CHRIS 21 HR Management System.

In conjunction with key SA Water HR Managers, Application Service Manager and IT Architects, Dragonfly Software designed and developed a suite of Windows Platform Components (Windows Services and .Net Web Services) that connected both systems in a real-time live environment.

With the communication process managed via BizTalk, and XML SOAP communication technologies used, the .Net set of platform components provide efficient communication between the two systems whilst preserving existing business rule validations within each application’s domain.

Implemented within SA Water’s cutting edge environment, this project was a perfect example of how you can get the best of both worlds.
